What causes a chesty cough?

A chesty cough is normally caused by a virus such as cold and flu. When your cough becomes chesty this means mucus becomes trapped in your throat, nose and sinuses this is what causes your body to cough to try and clear the mucus.

Symptoms associated with catarrh also known as mucus.

• Constant need to clear your throat.
• Feeling that your throat is blocked.
• Blocked or stuffy nose that you cannot clear.
• Runny nose.
• Feeling of mucus running down the back of your throat.
• Persistent cough.

Can this be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding it is not advised for you to use this medicine.

Active Ingredients

Peppermint oil, anise oil, capsicum tincture (capsicum oleoresin, ethanol), syrup (sucrose), liquid glucose, magnesium aluminium silicate, sodium methyl, ethyl and propyl Parahydroxybenzoates (E215, E219), glycerol (E422), caramel (E150c), purified water.
