Colipan Syrup

Colipan Syrup contains hyoscine butylbromide (and sometimes other ingredients depending on the formulation) and is commonly prescribed to treat spasms of the stomach, intestines, and biliary tract. It works by relaxing smooth muscles, thereby reducing cramps, bloating, and discomfort associated with conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, gastritis, or colic in children. Dosage and duration depend on the patient’s age and medical advice. Common side effects may include dry mouth, dizziness, and constipation. It should be used with caution in patients with glaucoma, enlarged prostate, or certain heart conditions.
